Abstract

One of them was 26 years old housewife and the others were 63 years and 61 years old men who had been affected grouped vesicles with erythematous lesions symmetrically on the trunk and extremities.
The general health was not affected, but the relationship between the disease and psychological factors was found in all three cases.
Eosinophile count of peripheral blood revealed 12% in the former female but normal limits in the latter two male cases.
Tzanck test showed no significant acantholytic cells except a small number of degenerative epidermal cells and eosinophiles in all studied preparations.
In iodine patch test (30% pot. iodide), the latter 2 male cases had a positive reaction in 24 hours but negative in the former female case.
Histologically, the preparations of case 1 &2 showed non-acantolytic subepidermal pressure bullae contains a considerable eosinophiles and many lymphocytes. On the other hand, case 3 showed no specific findings except subepidermal bulla.
Sulfamethoxypyr4dazine (Lederkyn) was effective in the control of all 3 cases without any adverse reactions.
